Free trial and lifetime license information.

Free Trial

Transcribe includes a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card or sign-up required. The trial starts when you first open the app. Trial is tied to your Mac's hardware to prevent abuse.

Lifetime License

After the trial, purchase a lifetime license for $5 (one-time payment). Your license works on up to 3 Macs. Includes all future updates.

Purchase options:

• Buy at trytranscribe.io (redirects to checkout)
• Buy through the app (Settings or onboarding)

Payments are processed securely via Polar.sh. After purchase, you receive a license key by email.

Activating a License

1. Open Settings in Transcribe (or use the onboarding license step).
2. Enter your license key.
3. Click Activate.
4. The key is validated via Polar.sh and your device is registered.

If you see "device limit reached", you may need to deactivate on another device first.

Deactivating

In Settings, click Deactivate License to free up a device slot for use on another Mac.

Managing Your License

You can manage your license, view activation history, and request support through your Polar.sh account.
